YES, THIS IS A SHORT STORY! Yes, it IS a complete story. NO, it's not the 2nd novel in s growing serious. Many reviewers were angry about the length of this 1 year later peek into Brenna and Druid's life (sadly, no dialogue from our hunky man but he is mentioned) and how it didn't seem to go anywhere. Well actually it did. If you remember the final fight with the darkness in Feral and the words that the Darkness had said then you will get the ending. I only read this out of curiosity as the ending in Feral was pretty perfect and there were no loopholes to tie upProduct details

Good read
Short, yes, but there are highly acclaimed short stories that are shorter. Concise, yes, but clear and well-developed. Fun, definitely. Now I want another novel
I really enjoyed the first book and decided to buy the second, not realizing it was only a couple of chapters. Both are well written, but I wouldn't have bought the second one if I'd known it was so short.
Ugh. 31 pages? That made me angry. I'm sure I paid for this. $2.99 I believe and that makes me angry that I wastes money on the first chapter of a book when I could have purchased an entire whole NEW book for a few dollars mire
Unfortunately it has been a little while since I read this, so I am not sharp on the details. I do know that I bought it because I enjoyed book one, and I very much hope the author will decide to write some more about these characters. Nothing was left hanging, but I liked them so much I would appreciate more.
I read "A Feral Darkness" and loved it. When I found this, I was looking forward to "getting into" another adventure. Although the writing was excellent and the action drew me in, it was WAY too short. I got to the last page and couldn't believe it was done...Looking forward to another book about Brenna and Druid!
Very short story. I was confused and had to re-read the story several times. Still not understanding the end. Months later, I came back to review this and book 1. I slowly re-read this story to try to understand it. I think I understand a little bit more than previously. But, I'm still unsure. It was still a nice story so a 4-star rating... Will there be any more books on this series???
